Crop pollination begins as early as September with the first flowering Brassica crops, this is then followed by Blackcurrants in October. Then every month we are continually moving hives from farm to farm ensuring the bees are in position for their vital role as a pollinator.

Our Pollination Process:
A very large part of our business is supporting the Arable Industry in Mid-Canterbury. We supply hives for pollination of the many and varied seed crops that are grown throughout the region.
This service continues till March, with the last crop requiring pollination being Buckwheat.
